Free migration service
We offer professional migration assistance, free of charge when moving to Templ. We will also help you optimize your site to make it load as fast as possible.
How the migration works
Your live site stays untouched for the entire process, so there is no downtime or risk while we work.
- We copy your site to Templ. We set up a complete copy of your website on a temporary preview domain, so you can try it out on Templ without affecting your live site.
- You test the copy. Browse the site on the preview domain to make sure everything works as expected and that the performance is satisfactory.
- We make a final sync if needed. For sites where content keeps changing - such as ecommerce stores gathering new orders, or busy blogs with new posts and comments - we can copy your site once more once you approve it, so nothing added in the meantime is lost when you go live. For sites that don't change much, this step usually isn't necessary.
- We help you go live. We assist with pointing your domain to Templ, whether that means updating your name servers or transferring the domain to us.

Contact us if you want migration help, or request a migration through our Templ Panel by filling out the migration form.
We need at least WP Admin credentials with administrator privileges to be able to copy your site to Templ.
In some cases we may also need access to your hosting control panel, since some hosts or sites don't allow migration through WP Admin alone. If that applies to your site, we'll let you know what additional access we need.
We typically handle migration requests within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Once we've processed your request, we'll get back to you with an update regarding your site and information about how to take it live on Templ. We can help you through the whole process to make sure the migration is as smooth as possible.
